Cleanings and exams are the foundation of good oral health. During these visits, we’ll gently clean your child’s teeth, removing plaque and tartar buildup. We’ll also conduct a thorough examination to check for cavities, gum disease, and other potential issues. We’ll educate your child on proper brushing and flossing techniques, and answer any questions you may have. Our goal is to create a positive and comfortable experience, setting your child up for a lifetime of healthy smiles.
Preventive care is the cornerstone of a healthy smile. We believe in stopping dental problems before they start through regular checkups, cleanings, and personalized education. We empower children and families to maintain excellent oral hygiene habits! Our goal is to help your child develop strong, healthy teeth and gums, setting them up for a lifetime of bright smiles. We focus on early detection, prevention, and education, ensuring your child’s smile stays healthy and beautiful for years to come.
We encourage parents to bring their children for their first dental visit by their first birthday, or within six months of the eruption of their first tooth. Early visits allow us to monitor your child’s oral development, provide preventive care like cleanings and fluoride treatments, and educate you on proper oral hygiene practices.
Dental sealants are a thin, protective coating applied to the chewing surfaces of back teeth to prevent cavities. They create a smooth surface that’s easier to clean, making them a great preventive measure for kids and teens.
This is a safe and effective treatment used to help prevent tooth decay. A small amount of fluoride varnish is painted onto the teeth, delivering a concentrated dose of fluoride that strengthens enamel and helps protect against cavities.
X-Rays allow us to see what we can’t see with a visual exam, helping us detect potential problems like cavities, bone loss, or impacted teeth early on, when they’re easier to treat.
Restorative care focuses on bringing your child’s smile back to its full health and function. At Bright Smiles, we understand that sometimes little teeth need a little extra help. Whether it’s a cavity, a chipped tooth, or other dental damage, we offer a range of gentle and effective restorative treatments.
These are a popular and aesthetically pleasing option for restoring decayed or damaged teeth. Made from a tooth-colored resin material, they blend seamlessly with your child’s natural teeth, providing a discreet and natural-looking solution.

Extractions are typically recommended when a primary tooth is severely damaged, infected, or preventing the proper eruption of permanent teeth. Our team will thoroughly assess the situation and explain the procedure to both you and your child, ensuring you understand the reasons for the extraction and what to expect.
SDF is a safe and effective treatment used to help stop the progression of cavities. It’s a liquid applied directly to the affected tooth, helping to arrest decay and prevent it from spreading further.
This treatment helps regenerate tooth enamel and repair early cavities. This non-invasive treatment is a great option for children and teens, helping to protect their smiles and prevent the need for more extensive dental work in the future.
This procedure performed on primary (baby) teeth to remove infected tissue from the pulp chamber (the center of the tooth) while leaving the healthy pulp intact. It’s similar to a root canal but less extensive, as it focuses on the upper portion of the pulp.
These are appliances designed to hold open the space left by a prematurely lost primary (baby) tooth. They help prevent adjacent teeth from drifting into the empty space, ensuring there’s enough room for the permanent tooth to erupt properly.

Clean the area of the affected tooth. Rinse the mouth thoroughly with warm water or use dental floss to dislodge any food that may be impacted. If the pain still exists, contact our office. Do not place aspirin or heat on the gum or aching tooth. If the face is swollen, apply cold compress and contact our office immediately.
Apply ice to injured areas to help control swelling. If there is bleeding, apply firm but gentle pressure with gauze or cloth. If bleeding cannot be controlled by simple pressure, call a doctor or visit the emergency room.
If possible, find the tooth and handle it by the crown, not by the root. You may rinse the tooth with water only. DO NOT clean with soap, scrub, or handle the tooth unnecessarily. If the tooth is not broken, try and reinsert in in the socket by having the patient hold the tooth in place by biting on gauze or a clean cloth. If you cannot reinsert the tooth, transport the tooth in a cup containing the patient’s saliva or milk, NOT water. If the patient is old enough, the tooth may be carried in the patient’s mouth (beside the cheek). The patient must see a doctor immediately! Time is a critical factor in saving the tooth.
Time is a critical factor, contact our office immediately so as to reduce the chance for infection or the need for extensive dental treatment in the future. Rinse the mouth with water and apply a cold compress to reduce swelling. If you can find the broken tooth piece, bring it with you.
